Big four accountancy firm KPMG has promoted Graeme Whitfield to private client tax director in its Newcastle office.
Mr Whitfield has led KPMG’s Newcastle-based private client team since 2013, having worked at the firm since 2000. He has over 18 years’ experience of advising individuals, entrepreneurs and family businesses on complex personal tax issues.
His promotion comes as the team, which operates as part of the wider private client advisory practice in the North of England, continues to expand its client base, which has seen the Newcastle practice expand in size by almost a third in the last year.
