KPMG’s UK chair steps aside after telling staff to 'stop moaning'

KPMG’s UK chairman Bill Michael has stepped aside while the Big 4 accountancy firm investigates “alleged comments he made during a virtual meeting with staff.

He is said to have told employees to “stop moaning” and “playing the victim card” when they raised concerns about working conditions.

According to media reports, the incident happened during a virtual town hall meeting on Monday (08/02/2021) when staff raised concerns about potential cuts to their pension contributions, pay and bonuses.
