Lasting Power of Attorney – a matter of life and death…and smooth-running business

Nothing is certain for any of us but death and taxes. However, too few make provision to minimise the impact of mental incapacity, the inability to make decisions, a debilitating condition from which none of us is immune. 

 
Nor are many business owners aware that for the smooth running of their companies, having a legal document in place about who should make decisions in their absence can be vital.
 
Choosing who should make decisions if you are unable to do so is arguably the most important decision of all.
