Law firm confirms planned acquisition of 10 strong private client team down to 2 partners

Morton Fraser has confirmed that only two partners, Gregor Mitchell and Douglas Hunter, are joining it from the proposed acquisition of Addleshaw Goddard’s 10 strong Scottish private client team.

A spokesperson for the firm told eprivateclient that it understands that while such “deals are agreed in principle” they can “change in practice.” He added that the firm “respects the decision of those that felt their future lays elsewhere” and that it “will continue to try to attract the best people to the team.”
