The majority (85 percent) of people want to invest responsibly, but over half have never heard the term 'ESG'.
Research from financial planning firm The Private Office (TPO) has revealed an opportunity to bridge people’s current levels of understanding about environmental, social and governance (ESG) investing and their desire to learn more about it.
A survey of over 500 savers and investors found 56 percent of those who claimed to have heard the term ESG knew what it stood for. The remaining 44 percent got the meaning of the initials wrong.
