Lower pension wealth expected for younger generations, Resolution Foundation report finds

Drops in the availability of defined benefit pensions schemes mean that future generations will retire with less pension wealth than their predecessors, a report by UK think tank, the Resolution Foundation has found.

Despite this, the think tank’s 2023 intergenerational audit found that higher interest rates meant that individuals born between 1991 and 1995 with defined contribution pension schemes could see pension boosts of £18,000 by age 60....
