UK law firm Macfarlanes has added four partners, with the individuals starting their roles in May 2018.

Among the four is Isobel Morton, who trained at the firm and becomes a partner in private client. At the same time, Ceinwen Rees rejoins from Debevoise & Plimpton as a partner in Macfarlanes\' tax team having originally trained at the firm.

Also promoted are William Hedges in the firm\'s commercial team and Samuel Brooks who will be a partner in the investment management team where he specialises in credit, private equity and hedge funds.
