Global advisory and administration firm Maitland has acquired Gowling WLG (Monaco) S.A.R.L., a Monaco-based legal advisory firm.

Gowling WLG will be rebranded to Maitland Advisory (Monaco).

In purchasing this entity, Maitland will now formally be licenced to provide international legal advice from its Monaco office.

The legal services offering in Monaco will be led by Peter Walford, who brings with him a large network of high net worth clients and intermediaries based in Monaco and elsewhere. He is a solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales, and has been established in Monaco for many years.
