Moore Stephens in Abu Dhabi fined over audit failings

Abu Dhabi Global Market's (ADGM) Registration Authority (RA) has levied fines amounting to roughly £9,300 against Moore Stephens, an audit firm registered with the ADGM, and Farad Kersi Lakdawala, the firm's audit principal. 

The fines were imposed as the audit firm and its principal were found to have conducted an audit beyond the limits of their permitted scope, specifically for an ADGM financial institution, for the financial year ending 31 December 2021.
