The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has published rules looking to underpin reforms to the international tax system that will ensure Multinational Enterprises (MNEs) are subject to a minimum 15 percent tax rate.
The move follows a deal reached in October by almost 140 countries, which looks for MNEs to pay a fair share of tax worldwide and avoid the tax avoidance seen in the past by large multinationals such as Amazon and Apple.
