Offshore law firm Ogier has hired Sevyn Kalsi as an associate in its Jersey office. 

Mr Kalsi has joined the firm - which demerged from its fiduciary arm (now named Elian) earlier this year - from eprivateclient Top Five Boutique Law Firm New Quadrant Partners.

Mr Kalsi joined New Quadrant Partners in 2010 when the firm was founded following a breakaway from eprivateclient Top 25 Law Firm Payne Hicks Beach where he had been trainee solicitor since 2009.

Prior to that, Mr Kalsi, a fluent Spanish speaker, was a legal executive from 2006 to 2009...
