Progress in closing the gender pay gap between men and women earning over £1 million each year has stalled, wealth manager Bowmore Wealth Group said.
Women now account for just 11.1 percent of those earning over £1 million, down from 12.5 percent in 2016/17, according to data from HMRC.
Research from Cranfield School of Management’s Female FTSE Board Report 2020 found 40.8 percent of non-executive roles at FTSE100 companies are held by women, where average remuneration is £70,000.
