Promoters of tax avoidance schemes are targeting middle income earners

In April, HMRC warned that promoters of tax avoidance schemes were targeting NHS workers returning in response to the coronavirus. This development follows the trend for tax promoters to target low paid agency workers, tempting them into disguising their true level of earnings to pay less income tax and National Insurance Contributions.
