A quick look at what’s been going on in North America…

The 2020 tax filing season has officially begun in the US, as the IRS has this week started accepting and processing federal tax returns for tax year 2019. The deadline to file a 2019 tax return and pay any tax owed is April 15, 2020.  More than 150 million individual tax returns for the 2019 tax year are expected to be filed, with the vast majority of those expected to be received before the April 15 tax deadline.
