Russia sanctions lead to UK sales drop in prime properties and supercars

Sales of £5 million properties in Westminster, Kensington and Chelsea have dropped by a third, research by chartered accountants and business advisers Lubbock Fine has shown.

This comes alongside a drop of two-thirds in supercar sales over the last year identified by accountancy group UHY Hacker Young.

Prime property sales in Westminster dropped by 35 percent from 196 in the financial year 2021 to 2022 to 127 in the financial year 2022 to 20223.
