Seychelles bids to get removed from EU blacklist with new AML regulations

The Seychelles is hoping that amendments to its financial and legal legislation will see it removed from the European Union (EU) taxation blacklist by February 2021.

The jurisdiction is hoping to be removed from the list despite being downgraded in April by the OECD from being largely compliant to partially compliant.
