Smith & Williamson's Channel Islands' MD on looking after employee mental health

For Mental Health Awareness Week, eprivateclient spoke to Matt Falla, managing director of Smith & Williamson, who is very open about his own struggles with mental health.

"It takes a lot of effort to not be open or not be your real self,” says Matt Falla, but yet, so often people are expected to put on a persona at work.

That’s why Mr Falla says it’s important to remember that “we employ people, we don’t employ a head count”.
