Smith & Williamson’s profits soar

Smith & Williamson has increased its operating profits by 26.1 percent to £27.5 million for the first six months of the financial year.

The previous year this figure stood at £21.8 million.

In its interim results for the first six months of the 2019/20 financial year, the firm stated its group operating income also grew by 10.3 percent from £134.8 million to £148.7 million.

Funds under management and advice increased by 3.7 percent to £22.2 billion.
