Tech should not force people to make 'substantial changes', RSM UK private client head explains

People should not have to “substantially change” what they do in order to make technology fit into the day-to-day running of their business, national head of private client at RSM UK, Gary Heynes, told diners at eprivateclient’s second annual Accountancy Dinner this week (3 October 2017).

Quoting Bill Gates, Mr Heynes said: “The advance of technology is based on making it fit in so that you don’t really even notice it, so it’s part of everyday life.” He categorised technology in three ways: tech that helps us do our job, tech that helps us run our business, and other.
