The Law Society of Jersey - the statutory regulatory body for advocates and solicitors of the Royal Court - has appointed Rose Colley as its new president.
Ms Colley was chosen to succeed John Kelleher at an AGM last month (23 September 2020).
Ms Colley has been a partner in Viberts since 2000 and heads the firm's family law team. She was sworn in as an English solicitor in 1980 and as a Jersey advocate in 2000.
Ms Colley is the first female president to be elected by members of the Law Society since it was established in 1899.
