Wealth management and professional services group, Tilney Smith & Williamson, has appointed Andrew Wilkes as chief professional services director as well as a member of the group executive committee.

Mr Wilkes joined the firm in 2004 and has been head of tax for the past two years. In his new role, he will be responsible for client teams working across assurance and business services, tax, and advisory.
