Transactions show "slugglish" quarter for London's prime property market

It has been a relatively "sluggish" start to the year for prime London property transactions, according to Katherine O’Shea, a director in Coutts' real estate division.

Transaction volumes are down 24.8 percent compared to the end of last year and down 33.9 percent compared to the same period last year (Q1 2022).

Transaction volumes for the first quarter of the year were down 21.1 percent compared to the 10 year average.<...
