UK Capital Gains Tax bill surpasses £15 billion

The UK’s Capital Gains Tax (CGT) bill has broken the £15 billion barrier for the first time ever, with £15.3 billion collected in the year to 31 October 2022, up 27 percent from £12 billion in the previous 12 months, private equity investment firm Growthdeck has revealed.
