UK charity tax relief statistics show £100m fall since last year

New figures from the UK government show shows that the total value of the reported tax reliefs on charitable donations remained broadly steady but for the tax year ending April 2021, tax reliefs for charities and their donors in the UK fell compared to the previous year by £0.1 billion, to £5.7 billion. This coincides with the temporary reduction in Stamp Duty Land Tax from 8 July 2020.
