UK intelligence services 'routinely' spy on lawyers

The intelligence services have been “routinely spying on the confidential communication between lawyers and clients”, according to Amnesty UK’s legal advisor, Rachel Logan, who gave evidence at the Investigatory Powers Tribunal (IPT) on Thursday (06/11/2014) in a case brought against the government by Libyans Abdel-Hakim Belhaj and Sami Al Saadi and Amnesty International.
