UK Investment Visa scheme changes 'troublesome' warns private client specialist

Changes to the Tier 1 Investment Visa scheme were announced by Caroline Noakes MP, Immigration Minister last week.

One key change is that individuals need to demonstrate that they’ve had control over their assets for at least two years.

This could be difficult for some legitimate clients as it increases the amount of paperwork they need to provide, said private wealth law firm Royds Withy King.
