The US Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has blocked the Delaware-based Heritage Trust belonging to Russian oligarch Suleiman Abusaidovich Kerimov.
The block ensures that the $1 billion of assets held in the trust remain inaccessible to Mr Kerimov.
Heritage Trust was formed in July 2017 for the purpose of funding Mr Kerimov’s US-based assets.
