The estranged wife of an Italian fashion tycoon is fighting to settle the divorce petition in the UK rather than in Italy, according to media reports.

Ferruccio Ferragamo, the 73 year-old chairman of luxury footwear and fashion brand Salvatore Ferragamo, and Ilaria Giusti, 53, both appeared at the Court of Appeal in London yesterday (01/04/19).

It is claimed the couple became estranged in 2012, however divorce proceedings are ongoing and the pair were only officially separated by an Italian court in 2018.
