Solicitor Kate Ovenden has moved from Withers to join Bedell Cristin’s financial services group in Guernsey.

Ms Ovenden had worked at Withers for 10 years, focusing on corporate, commercial, financial services and funds projects. Before becoming a lawyer, she worked as a trust and company administrator for Rothschild Trust in Guernsey.

Among the areas Ms Ovenden has advised on include the establishment and authorisation of regulated businesses, the establishment of UK authorised and unauthorised funds, investment services regulation, client and adviser agreements and insurance and banking regulations.
