Withers highlights ‘laudable' new cyberbullying insurance policy

Law firm Withers has praised the move by insurance company Chubb to include cover for victims of cyber bullying in its updated home policy.

The cover sits within Chubb’s revamped private clients product range and will allow policyholders who become victims of cyber-bullying may claim up to £50,000 towards professional support, lost income and temporary relocation costs.

It is applicable in instances where online harassment causes policyholders to miss work, school or college and is one several updates made to Chubb’s home and motoring policies.
