Asset Risk Consultants (ARC) has published its 2021 Private Client Indices (PCI) estimates, which revealed on average a much stronger year for private client investment managers than 2020.
The most cautious portfolio band (risk relative to equities of 0 to 40 percent) was the only band that posted lower average returns than in 2020.
In 2021, this band generated average full-year returns of 4.1 percent. However, in 2020 the band generated average returns of 4.2 percent.
