Almost 40% of Gen Xers worry about not having enough money in retirement, study finds

More than a third of Generation Xers (38 percent) worry that they won’t be able to pay regular household bills from their monthly pension payments when they retire, according to a OnePoll study commissioned by pensions advice provider Portafina.

The study which reached 746 Gen Xers across the UK found that four out of every 10 (39.6 percent) Generation Xers aged 45 to 54 are already very concerned about not having enough money to sustain their current lifestyle in retirement.
