2018 saw an 83 percent increase in the amount spent on buying pre-owned private jets in the UK compared with 2017.

Private jet broker Colibri Aircraft’s analysis showed that 17 pre-owned heavy, medium and light private jets were purchased in the UK in 2018, for a total value of $143.6 million, which averages roughly $8.5 million per jet.

However, in 2017 just 11 pre-owned private jets were sold for a total of $78.6 million ($7.1 million per jet).

Additionally, 13 new private jets were delivered to the UK in 2018, valued at $299.5 million, compared with 15 and $256.9 million the previous year.
