Demand for wills increases but solicitors struggle to execute

Demand for wills is increasing amid the Covid-19 pandemic, with some estimates saying by as much as 30 percent, which is “understandable at this time,” according to Hilesh Chavda, head of private client at law firm DKLM.

“I’m in the business of always talking to people about worst case scenarios, you know, some apocalyptic event. Usually, people don’t really want to think about this or say it’ll never happen. And now we’re in a situation we never thought we would see where this is fulfilled,” he told eprivateclient.
