Former eprivateclient Top 35 Under 35 Kerrie Le Tissier has launched KLT Legal, a boutique Guernsey legal practice specialising in private wealth.

The new firm provides a personal, client-focused service to fiduciaries, family offices and private clients (particularly HNWIs, family business owners and entrepreneurs).

Ms Le Tissier has over 18 years of experience working in leading offshore law firms in Guernsey and Jersey. She also has international experience at an Australian law firm in Melbourne and in-house at a family office in Geneva, Switzerland.

Ms Le Tissier said that KLT Legal offers a “different approach to other Guernsey law firms” practising in the private wealth sector as its “small size and independence enables it be flexible and agile in its approach to providing legal services, to embrace the use of modern legal tech and to focus on the needs of its select client base”.

Ms Le Tissier advises on all aspects of Guernsey trusts, foundations and other structures set up to hold and manage private wealth, including their establishment, ongoing administration and winding-up. She also advises on underlying corporate structures and provides transactional advice and assistance.

KLT Legal will also provide outsourced in-house legal support to clients that either do not have their own in-house legal function or that do but require additional support from time to time.

Ms Le Tissier qualified as a Guernsey Advocate in 2009 and is also admitted as a solicitor of England and Wales (currently non-practising). She was named as an eprivateclient Top 35 Under 35 in 2011 and 2013.
