Gender pay gap data reveals the industry still has a long way to go

With the deadline for firms reporting their gender pay gap being today, eprivateclient took a look at the pay gaps in some of the big players within the industry.

Saffery Champness is leading the way with a near equal median hourly wage, with women actually earning 0.5 percent more than men in this metric. Within the firm, women occupy 51.3 percent of the highest paid jobs and 59.5 percent of the lowest paid jobs. The median bonus is also equal.

This was the only firm looked at to have a pay gap of less than 10 percent using the median hourly wage figure.
