Jersey regulator outlines travel guidance for virtual asset transfers

The Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC) has published guidance on how virtual asset service providers (VASPs) in the jurisdiction are expected to implement the Financial Action Task Force's travel rule.

The rule requires transfers of virtual assets - digital representations of value that can be digitally traded or transferred can be used for payment or investment purposes - to be accompanied by accurate originator and beneficiary information.
