Leeds-based Clarion has appointed Gareth Marland as legal director in its private client practice as it continues to expand its team.
He joins the firm from Berwins, where he worked for over 12 years in Harrogate. His practice includes advising on a wide range of matters such as making wills; inheritance tax; setting up trusts; probate; succession planning for business and farm owners; and powers of attorney. However, he specialises in advising farming clients and business owners.
Mr Marland is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and Solicitors for the Elderly.
