A quick look at what’s been going on in Europe…

Several EU Member States missed the deadline for transposing the EU’s latest tax avoidance directive. The European Commission has issued formal warnings to 15 member states as they are being deemed to be too slow at transposing its anti-tax avoidance directives into their national law.

The countries that have been warned are: Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden and the UK. They have been told to complete their implementation of Council Directive (EU) 2018/822 (D...
