The US is introducing new responsibilities for charities receiving virtual currency donations. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has added extra information to its FAQs document on virtual currency transactions. The document addresses the responsibilities of charitable organisations when accepting donations of virtual currency, including cryptocurrency.
