UK women financially vulnerable in the event of divorce, says Netwealth

UK women are leaving themselves financially vulnerable in the event of a divorce, according to new research from wealth manager Netwealth.

Netwealth’s Me, my money and I report found 39 percent of divorced women regret not maintaining greater financial autonomy and greater financial engagement (37 percent) over the course of their relationship.

UK women engage more with their own personal wealth, with 75 percent maintaining a complete understanding of their personal finances over the course of a relationship.
