Former 7IM wealth manager Chris Birch has joined newly-merged Tilney Smith & Williamson.

Mr Birch worked for 7IM for nearly 20 years, where he looked after more than 100 clients and assets under management of around £100 million.

Mr Birch joined the firm in 2001 from Killik & Co, where he started his career as a financial adviser.

At 7IM Mr Birch first worked building a client book via financial planners, lawyers and accountants. He became team head for London and the South Eats in 2012, and latterly took a senior risk management role within the firm.
