Advice consolidator Fairstone has appointed Steve McNicol as chief development officer.

Mr McNicol, who has over two decades experience in the North East’s legal sector, joins Fairstone from law firm Ward Hadaway.

Before this, he was managing partner at Muckle for 11 years, driving double-digit growth across the period. He was appointed when he was just 34 years old, becoming the youngest managing partner of any UK law firm at that time.
