All eyes on Bank of England as inflation continues to soar

UK inflation continues to soar, increasing pressure on the Bank of England (BoE) to raise interest rates.

The latest Office for National Statistics (ONS) data shows inflation hit 5.1 percent in November, a 0.7 percent increase from the month before. This is the highest 12-month inflation rate since September 2011.

In comparison, inflation fell 0.1 percent in November 2020.
