Nasdaq-listed wealth manager Focus Financial Partners is set to acquire Watterson Financial Planning, a family-run firm based in Knutsford, Cheshire.

Focus will do the deal via one of its subsidiaries, Connectus, an adviser consortium which delivers a range of wealth management services to clients in the US and Australia. Watterson will be the firm’s first foothold in the UK market.
