Average age of wealthiest US investors drops

The average age of wealthy households in the US is trending downward, as GenX and Millennial investors begin to accumulate great personal wealth from successful careers and/or sizeable inheritances, according to a new study by Spectrem Group.

The Wealthiest Americans: $25 Million Plus Investors study also showed that in addition to being younger than ever before, with the mean age of $25 million-plus investors dropping 11 years since 2014 to 47 years old in 2018, American households with net assets of $25 million or more include more females than previously.
