Billionaire investor George Soros has donated £400,000 to Best for Britain, a group that is campaigning for the UK to remain part of the EU, according to media reports.

The Daily Telegraph broke the story that Mr Soros has made the donation via one of his foundations, the Open Society Foundation.

Best for Britain was co-founded by Gina Miller, who also founded SCM Direct with her husband Alan Miller and the True and Fair Campaign over investment fees. She also successfully brought a legal case over the need for Parliament to vote on the Brexit Campaign.
