Boutique wealth manager reports H1 loss

Boutique wealth manager Oberon Investments has reported a £1.7 million pre-tax loss in the six months to 30 September 2022.

This compares with a pre-tax profit of £128,000 a year earlier.

Revenues fell 23.53 percent during the period from £3.4 million at 30 September 2021 to £2.6 million in 2022.

EBITDA fell to a loss of £1.3 million from a 2021 profit of £6,000. The firm attributed this to its increased investment in platform, systems and controls.
