Brewin Dolphin CEO to retire, successor named

David Nicol, chief executive of Brewin Dolphin, is to retire after seven years with the group.

He will be replaced by Robin Beer, managing director of investment solutions and distribution, subject to regulatory approval.

A 2020 PAM 50 Most Influential, Mr Nicol will step down on 14 June, but will remain with the firm for a transitionary period until 29 July.
