Brewin Dolphin has appointed a new head of sustainability and promoted another investment manager as it expands this practice.

Tom Blathwayt joins Brewin Dolphin from SystemIQ, a transformation-focused consultancy, and becomes head of the department.

Mr Blathwayt started his career at consultancy Monitor, where he was a founding member of its inclusive markets practice. From 2013 to 2015, he lived in India, where he co-led the Monitor Mumbai office, focusing on the social and environmental challenges faced by fast growing businesses in emerging markets.
